The Brief
This series was a self-directed exploration of bold typography and visual storytelling. Inspired by playing cards, the goal was to create a cohesive set of posters that combine text, cutout imagery, and textured overlays to explore themes of risk, choice, and playfulness. Each poster features a striking phrase designed to engage the viewer and evoke interaction, while maintaining a consistent, minimal colour palette and tactile aesthetic.
This poster captures the feeling of being at a pivotal moment - when a choice has been made or a risk taken, and the next step is uncertain. The bold red text confronts the viewer directly, while the Ace of Spades cutout symbolizes both chance and high stakes. It’s an invitation to pause, reflect, and decide what comes next.
