The Brief
Create a brand identity for a women’s gym
Why are women’s gyms important?
Women’s-only gyms are rising in UK, mostly for women to have a safe space. Gyms are primarly seen as male-orientated spaces therefore a lot of the marketing and visuals are targetting towards men. Although, a large amount of women still opt to go to mixed gyms, there are still a group of women who prefer to have a seperate space.
The brand
Femme Studio celebrates womenhood by using colours and phrases that resonate with the female audience. It is the ultimate spot to be a girl and be proud of it. In this day and age, aethetics play a big role in experiences and therefore Femme Studio is designed to be pleasing to the eye but not condescending to the female audience. It’s about appreciating what makes a woman and letting it shine through.
Target Audience
Femme Studio caters to all women, but the branding would primarily target those between the ages of 20 and 40. It was important for me to use colours and language which resonates with women. Although the colours and visual assets are ‘cute’, the language is tough and empowering to motivate the women.
